App Privacy Notice
Skilli Inc. (“Skilli” or “we”) takes privacy and data security seriously. We are committed to
transparency in the collection and use of your personal information.
This Privacy Notice applies to the personal information that we collect when you use the Skilli
application that you may install on your mobile device (the “App”). The App is a web-based
platform used to connect users seeking services, with users providing services (the “Services”).
Collection and Use of Personal Information
To provide the Services, the App must be installed on a mobile device. The Services cannot be
provided without the Skilli App. We collect and use information for the purposes identified
•Using the App
As with many applications, certain limited data is required for the App to function on your
device. This data includes the type of device hardware and operating system, unique
device identifier, IP address, language settings, and the date and time the App accesses
When you register for an account, we collect your full name, phone number, email
address, a password of your selection, the date and time of sign-up and the IP address of
the device used for sign-up. We use this information to verify and administer your
account, to enable your access to the App, to verify your identity as an authorized user,
and to implement, carry out and maintain security measures aimed at protecting users
from identity theft, fraud and unauthorized access to an account.
In order to verify users offering services through the App, we may collect a photograph of
you, and your government issued identification, such as a driver’s license or passport. We
use this information to verify your identity and for the safety of other users of the App.
We also collect information regarding the services that you are offering through the app,
including a description of the services, postal code in which the services are offered,
photographs, and any related certifications or qualifications that you choose to provide.
We use and display this information to other App users to promote the services offered.
•Anonymous App Data
We use third-party service providers (such as Google Analytics) to collect certain
analytical information to help us better understand activity on the App, and improve our
products and the quality of the App.
We receive this data in an aggregated, anonymous form that does not personally identify
any individual App user. This anonymous analytical data includes the app features used,
screens viewed, and time spent on the App.
We will use Google Analytics only with your specific consent, which you will be able to
withdraw at any time through the App Settings under Privacy.
You can obtain additional information on Google Analytics’ collection and processing of

We collect the content of direct messages exchanged between users of the App to enable
communications between users.
You may select if you wish to receive email marketing communications with updates and
other information regarding Skilli by providing us with your full name and email.
You can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us using the opt-out or “unsubscribe”
instructions provided in the communication. Alternatively, you may contact our Privacy

When you contact us with a comment or question, or while using our chat function, we
collect the information you provide such as your username email address, along with
additional information that we may need to help us promptly respond to your inquiry.
We retain this information to assist you in the future and to improve our customer service
and service offerings. We also use personal information to establish and manage our
relationship with you and provide quality service.
Sharing of Personal Information
Except as set forth in this Privacy Notice and as required or permitted by law, we do not sell or
share your personal information with third parties without your consent.
Your personal information may be transferred (or otherwise made available) to our affiliates and
other third parties who provide services on our behalf. We use third parties to process payments,
and to host servers. Our service providers are given the information they need to perform their
designated functions, and are not authorized to use or disclose personal information for their
own marketing or other purposes.
Your personal information may be maintained and processed by us, our affiliates and other third-
party service providers in the US or other jurisdictions. In the event that personal information is
transferred outside of Canada and to another other foreign jurisdiction, it will be subject to the
laws of that jurisdiction and may be disclosed to or accessed by the courts, law enforcement and
governmental authorities in accordance with those laws.
Legal and Compliance
We and our service providers may provide your personal information in response to a search
warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to another organization for the purposes of
investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law or detecting, suppressing or
preventing fraud, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable Canadian, US or other law
or legal process. Your personal information may also be disclosed where necessary for the
establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and to investigate or prevent actual or suspect
loss or harm to persons or property.
Sale of Business
Personal information may be provided to third parties in connection with a merger or sale
(including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part
of Skilli or as part of a corporate reorganization or stock sale or other change in corporate control,
including for the purpose of determining whether to proceed or continue with such transaction
or business relationship.
Safeguarding and Retention of Personal Information
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures in an effort
to safeguard the personal information in our custody and control against theft, loss and
